Name:Kiko Harvey
From:Snoqualmie, WA
Message:Mom,

It's been a while since you left us.  Please know that I think of you every day and miss having you near.  I wish I had told you how much you meant to me during your last days with us....I hope you knew how much you touched our lives without the words being spoken.  Pray for us all and watch over your grandchildren - who need you more than ever.

Your loving daughter and best friend,

Kiko

Name:Mary and Stan Steddom
From:La Habra Heights, CA USA
Message:We will miss our dearest friend who introduced us to the wonderful Japanese cuisine and always challenged us to more and more adventurous selections at the Sushi counter including scary (but delicious) things with eyes, legs, and feelers!  Our deepest sympathy and continued love to Frank and the Harvey's.

Name:Amanda Vlietstra
From:Upland, CA USA
Message:The Steddoms moved away from "The Block" a long time ago, but Mrs. Billig continued to be our most cherished neighbor. I loved getting phone calls from her on Spindlewood Street. She was always so warm and genuinely interested in others.  We loved her for that. She was kind and funny, and such a gracious lady.  My mom and I will never forget our last visit with Mrs. Billig.  Thank you so much for that, Mr. Billig, Kiko, and Dwight.  You are all in our daily lives as we remember her.

Message:Thanks for that lovely note in honor of your mom.  I am so glad you did that.  She was so remarkable and my truly best friend.

I will miss her and your father, but she has taught me so many life lessons about friendship and patience and how necessary it is to pay attention to life around us.  She was so proud of you and your family and I always enjoyed our telephone conversations when we "caught up" with news about the Harveys and everybody else in the whole world.  Her mind was a veritable sponge!  Know that she will be sorely missed in this family.

love you all, and let the love of your family and the beauty of the nature around you comfort you at this difficult time.

Name:Tom Snip / Don Fisher
From:Deltona, Florida USA
Message:Love the pictures on line that brought back so many memories. We savor them along with all the fine meals we shared. We'll never foget the restaurant Tetsuko and Frank took us with a large aquarium to select the freshest catch of the day. The generosity of your spirit is what we treasure most. Tetsuko left us too soon, but God must have a purpose for her. Our deepest sympathy to the family..., and all who shared her giving and loving friendship.
