Adhania Olson of Carnation, died suddenly at her home on Friday, May 1,2009. She was 68 years old.
Adhania was born October 15, 1940 in Yreka, California. She was raised  near San Francisco during WWII while her parents were working in the shipyards building Liberty Ships. After the war she moved with her family to Mossyrock,WA
where she lived until she graduated from Franklin Pierce High School.
She attended the University of Washington where she got her Bachelor's degree in Nursing. She served in Intensive care units throughout Seattle for 18 years.
In 1984 she met Rod D. Olson and they married on September 15,1985.
In 1990 she retired from nursing and became a Software Test engineer at Spacelabs and Microsoft when she officially
retired in 2002.
Adhania and Rod moved to Carnation WA in 1997 where she enjoyed her hobbies to the fullest.
Knitting,gardening, reading,thriftstore shopping,antiquing,genealogy and Renaissance fairs
were just a few of her passions.
She was a lifetime lover of cats of which she and her husband Rod raised many.
At the time of her passing,she was acting Convener of the Washington State Chapter of the Scottish Clan MacMillan organization.
She was preceded in death by her mother Leona Roush in 1976.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years,Rod, of Carnation, daughter Adrienne Rose, grandchildren
Zane Adlum and Vivian Rose and one great grandson.
