John A. Hines, age 45 of Issaquah, passed away on June 2, 2010 in Seattle.

John was born in 1964 in Snoqualmie, the son of Larry and Lana Hines.  He was raised and spent most of his life in Issaquah.  He was a member of the auto upholstery union.  

In his leisure time he enjoyed gold panning, hiking, swimming, camping, working on cars and had a fascination with science and history.  

His family will always remember John as having a good heart and good nature, and a strong work ethic.  He will be greatly missed.

Survivors include son Christopher Hines, of Texas; three brothers Thomas Joseph Hines, of Port Orchard, Steven Hines, of Issaquah, Mike Hines of Hannibal, Missouri; sister Anna Hines Kabuki of Port Orchard; parents Larry Joe Hines and Lana Lee Orth.
