Ruth Busch passed away peacefully at LakeShore Senior Apartments in Renton, Thursday, July 8, 2010.  She was 96 years old.

Ruth was born on June, 30, 1914 in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, the daughter of Jacob & Clara Becker. She was raised in Bedford, Ohio where she met & married Merlin P Busch on Oct. 01, 1938. In 1942 they relocated from Ohio to Seattle where Merlin helped the war effort as a commercial artist for the Boeing Airplane Co. Ruth worked as a homemaker; a job she took great pride in.

Ruth & Merlin enjoyed traveling together and could boast of being in all 52 States, traveling through the Panama Canal, seeing a Space Shuttle Launch & taking the raft trip through the Grand Canyon.  They also both enjoyed gardening as well as many other craft and artistic projects.
She was preceded in death by her husband Merlin, son David, daughter in law Dolly & grandson Michael.

Survivors include sons James & Deane Busch, grand children Linda & Norman Busch & great grandchild Kaitlyn Busch.

A memorial graveside service will be held at Greenwood Memorial Park, 350 Monroe Avenue Northeast, Renton, WA  at 11:00 am. Thursday, July 15, 2010. Following the service friends & family are invited to memorial reunion at the house of son James; 2104 28th Ave Ct SW, Puyallup, WA. 98373.

The family suggests remembrances to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
