Geddis, of Plymouth, Roy Kenneth, age 80, died March 31, 2006 at the Jordan Hospital. He was the devoted husband of Viola M. (Black) Geddis of Plymouth and loving father of Christopher Geddis of DE, Pamela Connelly of Wilmington ,DE, and Ivy Anne Geddis of Plymouth,MA. Pre-deceased by his son Timothy Geddis of NC. He was beloved brother of David Geddis of NC, and cherished grandfather of fourteen. Also survived by two great-grandchildren and dear friend Diane Fortner of Plymouth. A Private memorial service will take place at the family home at a later date. Cremation will take place at Duxbury Crematory, Duxbury. Roy was born in West Minster, VT, on October 10, 1925, son of the late Ralph and Elizabeth (Cooke) Geddis. He was employed by the Cobb & Drew Company for over 47 years as a rivet maker. He entered the US Navy in World War II where he served as a seaman 1st class. He lived in Plymouth for over 60 years and enjoyed playing pool as a favorite hobby. He was a member of the Christ Church Episcopal in Plymouth.
