Pendleton - Jesse B.   Simmermon, 94, Pendleton, died May 12, 2002 at Rawlins House, Pendleton after extended illness.   

He was born December 4, 1907 in Hamilton County, Indiana, and resided in  Pendleton, Indiana.  He lived in this area since 1944.

He was a farmer with his sister and brother-in-law:  Fayola & Elmer Heath.  He also drove a school bus for the South Madison School Corporation for 29 years.


He was a member of Markleville North Christian Church, Adams Township Farm Bureau, National Farmers Association and Kennard Brotherhood.

He is survived by one brother:  Howard Simmermon of Pendleton.  Nephews:  LeRoy & wife Mary Jo Heath of Markleville.  Alan & wife Darlene Heath of Pendleton.  Several great nieces and nephews including:  Brian & wife Priscilla Heath of Chesterfield.  Bruce & wife Cary Heath of Pendleton.  Marilea & husband Brad Wyatt of Anderson.  Jennifer & husband Jeff Riggs of Pendleton and Michael & wife Katy Heath of Noblesville.

He was preceded in death by his parents:  Arza & Grace (White) Simmermon.  Sisters:  Joyce Dodd, Fayola Heath and Ethyl Dorcas Wells.  One Brother:  Erman Simmermon.

Services will be Tuesday, May 14, 2002  at 10:00 AM, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home, South Chapel.  200 W. 53rd Street; Anderson, with Rev. Gerald Burnett and Rev. Larry Barkdull. officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Zion Lutheran Cemetery-Ovid .   

Visitation will be from  4-8:00 PM on   at funeral home, south chapel..
